At Be Found Be Chosen, we’ve always believed that performance marketing can be powerful and responsible. That’s why we’re proud to share that we’ve started our journey towards becoming an accredited carbon neutral business.

This isn’t just about ticking boxes—it’s about building a business that reflects the values of the people who power it, and the clients we’re proud to partner with.

Fully Remote, Fully Committed

Earlier last year, we made the shift to becoming a fully remote agency. That means no more commuting, no more heating an office through the winter, and no more electricity powering unused meeting rooms.

Going remote has drastically reduced our carbon footprint, while giving our team more flexibility and freedom. It’s one of the most impactful decisions we could make—not just for the planet, but for our people too.

A Farm With a Future

Here’s where things get a bit different from your average digital agency…

We own a working farm in Northumberland. It’s something we’re incredibly proud of—and now, it’s central to our sustainability plans.

We’re exploring how the land can play a role in actively removing carbon from the atmosphere, through a range of environmental stewardship measures. These may include:

  • Tree planting and native hedgerow restoration

  • Soil improvement to boost natural carbon capture

  • Wildlife-friendly land management practices

  • And even potential re-wilding projects (although if you looked at a couple of our overgrown paddocks you’d be forgiven for thinking we’d already started  😂)

If implemented successfully, these initiatives won’t just help us offset our remaining emissions—they could push us toward being a net-positive business, removing more carbon than we produce.

What’s Next?

We’re currently working with sustainability experts to calculate our full carbon footprint and take the necessary steps towards official accreditation.

This includes:

  • Measuring both direct and indirect emissions

  • Assessing the impact of our supply chain

  • Building a long-term plan for offsetting and reduction

We’ll be sharing updates as we go—and we’ll be honest about the wins, the challenges, and everything in between.

Why We’re Doing This

Because it’s time businesses—big and small—stepped up.
Because remote work gives us the freedom to do better.
Because owning a farm gives us the privileged opportunity to make this happen

It also matters to our clients. Our clients need supply chain partners who are also invested in their carbon reduction and this mean that we can also pass these benefits on to our valued clients when they calculate the impact of the carbon footprint in their supply chain.

We know sustainability is a journey, not a one-off announcement. But we’re proud to say: we’ve taken our first steps
